Declarations of Freedom from Confusion

Updated: Mar 17, 2019

If this resonates with your spirit, then you can [print it off if you prefer and] repeat it aloud daily, throughout the day, and/or as needed. Repetition can allow it to seep, permeate, and marinate in our minds (souls). Consequently, we will be transfigured or transformed by the renewing of our minds through the word of truth by the Spirit of truth. Over time, God’s power will be released from our spirit (which is made perfect the moment we submit our lives to Jesus Christ as King/Master/Lord and Savior/Healer/Deliverer) and flow into our soul (our intellect, will, and emotions, which are in a state of progress towards perfection and maturity through a process called sanctification). I repent of every sin. The blood of Jesus cleanses me from all sin. I forgive everyone who has ever hurt, offended, and wounded me (my soul). I ask and apply the blood of Jesus to cover all sin in which I partook and also the sin that others committed against me. (2)

Now I have nothing in common with the spirit of confusion. He has no hold on me, no power over me, and no unsettled claims against me. (3)

Now I receive and apply the “dunamis” power of the Holy Spirit, that same power that rose Jesus Christ from the dead. “Dunamis” also means “excellence of soul.” I am now excellent in my mind, my will, and my emotions. I have the mind of Christ. I have not been given a spirit of fear, but of courage, love, and a sound mind. (4)

He who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him. I am joined to the Lord Jesus Christ and become one spirit with Him according to his promises in 1 Corinthians 6:17, John 15:1-11; John 17:20-24; etc. I am one spirit with the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, of power and might, of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. (5)

He whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Now I share Christ’s authority over the spirit of confusion. All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Jesus Christ. Therefore, I go out with his power and authority to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey all that he commanded us. These commandments include heal the sick, cast out demons, and declare that the kingdom of God is here. The kingdom of God is a matter of righteous, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. (6)

I have been given authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. As my soul prospers and is made excellent by dunamis, I have authority over Alzheimer’s, dementia, confusion, learning disabilities, mental disorders, and every evil spirit that afflicts and torments the mind. The love of Christ, poured out into my heart by His Holy Spirit whom he has given me, compels me to represent Jesus Christ as His ambassador. Just as Jesus Christ went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil because God was with him, so as the Father sent Jesus, so Jesus is sending me. (7)

Lord Jesus, I thank You for giving me rest for my soul. Thank You for restoring my soul and leading me in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake. Thank You for writing Your laws on my heart and for causing me to walk in all Your ways. I ask You for fill me right now with Your Holy Spirit according to your command in Ephesians 5:18. Now I thank You for filling with with Your Holy Spirit, as I receive your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Thank You for filling and flooding my soul with your love, so that now I can love You will my all heart, soul, mind, and strength. (8)

I love You, Lord.

In Jesus name,

Amen (“So be it!”)
